The Autech treatment positions the flagship minivan as a more grown-up, design-led alternative to whatever the Nismo division eventually cooks up.
Autech serves as Nissan's in-house premium sub-brand, taking standard models and reworking them with bespoke bodykits, upgraded interior materials, and optional chassis tuning. The Elgrand now joins the Note, Leaf, Serena, and X-Trail in Japan's Autech catalog, slotting in as the flagship of the family.

Visually, the Elgrand Autech adopts a unique grille pattern and a silver splitter with integrated LEDs emitting blue light. These are combined with silver mirror caps and matching extensions for the side skirts and the rear bumper. The minivan is finished in the signature Deep Ocean Blue shade, and rides on dark metal 18-inch alloy wheels.
Nissan Elgrand Autech Inside, the Autech treatment is more lavish. The cabin is trimmed with black Nappa leather with blue quilting and stitching. Twin 14.3-inch displays handle infotainment and instrumentation duties, and the second row gets captain's chairs with retractable legrests.

Nissan Elgrand Autech Line Finally, the company has also unveiled an illuminated side step (Step Type) that extends when opening the doors making it easier to enter and exit the vehicle. This will likely be offered as an optional accessory for the entire Elgrand lineup.

The fourth generation of the Nissan Elgrand (E53) brings concept-like styling cues and a high-tech interior to fight the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire. The comfort-focused minivan is fitted with Nissan's latest e-Power self-charging hybrid powertrain utilizing the e-4ORCE electric AWD system. Its market launch in Japan is scheduled for mid-July 2026.
